SES Case Study

AGGREGATES

The Problem:

Our Client at a Limestone quarry was looking to improve the guards on various parts of the plant. These guards were in a dilapidated state with mesh damage and steel frame corrosion. They were very heavy when required to be removed and this caused a manual handling problem as well as the safety issues caused by the damage.

Our Solution:

New fabricated support posts and guards. Made to suitable sizes that are safely removed. Primed, painted and installed on site.

Improvement achieved:

Nice clean looking guards that are clearly visible. Smaller guards which are lighter to handle. Galvanized mesh and painted steel for anti-corrosion.

Benefits achieved:

Productivity – easier viewing of equipment

Maintenance – vastly reduced, lightweight and robust, easier to clean area
